Hi everyone!
Well, the season is over for LPR AX.  It was a good season, with our only regret that we didn't have more AX events on the calendar in 2007; we hope that 2008 will hold at least 8 events for the season!  Many thanks to everyone who came out for the fun, and helped make this season a success!  The 'little cone' awards were all handed out at AX#6, which turned out to be one of the most fun courses of the season!  Thanks to Logan for all his efforts in course design AND set up -- we think cars of all types enjoyed good turns, and fast straights!!  AX#6 little cones were awarded to:  Cone Killer:  Linda Smith (the Monster Boxster is still wearing some orange on the manifold!)  Spinner:  Rob Boyton in his FABULOUS GT2  Most Entertaining:  Rob Vincent in his blue 914 and  Best of Show:  Jerry Mouton in his beautiful Jag XKE.
Next season welcomes a new Chairperson:  Allyson Pickard.  Logan Murray will continue to co-chair and handle course design and set up.   Bill Charon will continue for another season of towing the LPR trailer to the site, and Les Schreiber will be covering the security gate when they open.  Linda Smith will be returning to the Registration table.  As always, the team welcomes (and NEEDS) anyone who is willing to help out on race day with course set up and anything else you're willing to do!
